The Good News

Good morning everybody! I hope you are all doing well today.
Before I get started, I just want to remind all of you, about my motivation for starting this newsletter.
The book,"The Secret," took my life to places, and through things, that I otherwise, would never have experienced. It's really been amazing to me, that one seemingly small thing, could be such a tremendous blessing, to me and so many others.
The best part of it all, is it's FREE! You can't get any better than that.
All of the websites and books, that I talk about, are created by other believers, and real people, that you can e-mail, or call. People from all ethnic backgrounds, and age groups. All of them willing to help and support you in any way they can.
Our lifes handbook should always be the Bible.
These other books that I refer to, are like magnifying glass for the Bible. They take the word of God, and make it a million times stronger and better.
Just this past week, the culmination of my past experiences, both good and bad, came together, to create one amazing, and life changing moment.
I went to get my grandson, Austin, off the school bus. When he saw me, he said, Grandma, and threw his arms around me.
It was in that exact moment, I thought to myself, THIS, is why. This is why I took every right, or wrong path; took every chance; cried so many tears; felt every joy and pain. Because if one small thing had been changed, that moment would have changed. And, I wouldn't have missed it for ANYTHING!
God blessed us all with the opportunity to make choices. Can any of you, honestly say, that you would change anything that's happened up to this very minute, knowing that it would have changed the most precious thing in your life?
So, whatever you have to do today, just slow down. Look, listen and pay close attention to everyone and everything around you. "Opportunities are easily lost, while waiting for the perfect conditions."
My favorite quote, has got to be, "what you think about, you bring about."
There is hope for all of us. If you have turned your back on God, and what you know is right, just turn around. He never gave up on you. You gave up on yourself.
You are using more energy being miserable, than you would, if you were focused on being positive.
What would it hurt, to just look at the books and websites, that I talk about?
